ACE (Action in Caerau & Ely):

John Hallett, Cluster Lead, Cardiff West, Communities First.John will introduce us to  Ely-Caerau Communities First Partnership and to an innovative approach to community engagement and a new initiative to connect communities.  ACE was established in 2011 and is a trust which will host the new CF Futures programme, and provide Ely and Caerau with its ‘own’ organisation: located in the community, for the community, and run by the community.

DanceAbility & Hour Exchange Solutions:

Colette & David Neal, Acces3Ability CIC.Acces3Ability CIC is the architect and motivating force behind Patchwork Circles and Patchwork Shares. It is a Social Enterprise meeting social need through innovative projects that bring together different parties engaged in socially compatible activities.  Colette and David will be talking about two exciting new projects – DanceAbility is a project that uses timebanking to provide access to a fun form of exercise in the community that builds confidence, self-esteem, supports health and encourages social inclusion for vulnerable groups. Hour Exchange Solutions is a new service developed by Acces3Ability which offers a supporting infrastructure to organisations who want to develop coproductive solutions to the barriers they are experiencing in delivering citizen centred services.
